DESCRIPTION:Join us for an incredible day of wild pheasant hunting guided by Hallie\, one of our extremely knowledgeable Farm Bill Biologists. The date is Saturday\, January 25\, 2025 (weather permitting). We will be hunting on publicly accessible land through the CORNERS-4-CONSERVATION and WALK-IN programs which will give you an excellent idea of how to identify these properties along with good habitat to make you a successful public land hunter.\nWe will meet at Stan’s Auto 1019 South Lincoln\, Loveland at 6:15 AM. We need to be at the Sterling Rest Area by 8:30 AM. \n        1. Must have a valid Colorado Small Game Hunting License and active Habitat Stamp\n        2. Must have participated in a Pheasant Forever pheasant hunt that we put on at Great Guns or Camp Machasay\n        3. The event will be limited to a maximum of 12 women\n        4. The cost is $20 to help cover cost of fuel and lunch\n        5. Must register online like all our events\n        6. The event will last from 6:15 AM to approximately 6:30 PM\n        7. This is the perfect event for those who are just starting their hunting journey\, but ALL skill levels are welcome. \nAdditional Information \n\nCost: $230/participant\nLimited capacity available.\nAll meals and lodging from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch are included.\nCamping spots (with electric) are available if you prefer this option.\nYou will need a sleeping bag and pillow\, good hunting or hiking shoes for pheasant hunt\, proper clothing for the weather\, towel and wash cloth\, and cooler for birds.\n\nTentative Schedule – Sept. 6-8 \n\nFriday – Dinner @ 6:00; group meeting @ 7:00; lights out at 10:00\nSaturday – Breakfast @ 6:00; Dove hunting w/ lunch 7:00am – 12:00; 1:00pm – 4:00pm ATV riding\, and target shooting Dinner @ 6:00; habitat/hunting presentation @7:00; lights out at 10:00\nSunday – Breakfast @ 6:00am; Hunting – 7:00am-12:00; Lunch @ 12:00 and then part ways\n\nBasic Rules \n\nAll participants must have a valid Colorado small game hunting license\nAlcoholic beverages are prohibited on Camp Machasay Property\nPlease leave your dogs at home\nWe will carpool when we head to the fields to hunt\nHAVE FUN!

DESCRIPTION:Come out and meet the chapter while doing HANDS-ON HABITAT work and making a difference in your area! \nJoin us for a fun and rewarding day at the Cobb Lake Unit of the Wellington SWA. We will pack out trash\, clean parking lots\, remove invasive trees and have an amazing time with our fellow upland hunting and bird dog enthusiasts. We are excited to partner with some of our local Northern Colorado hunting dog clubs for this event\, so if you have a dog at home and would like to learn more about what these clubs offer for events and training\, this is an event you won’t want to miss! \nPlease bring gloves\, boots\, appropriate workwear\, sunscreen\, and any tools you want to help collect garbage. Friends and family are welcome to come. You do not need to be a Pheasants Forever member to participate in this event. We need a fairly accurate volunteer count to ensure we have enough food and ask that each participant is registered for the event.   \nWe will provide lunch\, bottled water\, trash bags\, and snacks.
